Level 1 (Class 1 to 5)
- Code 01: Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (appearing/passed)
- Code 02: Senior Secondary (45% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (NCTE 2002 norms)
- Code 03: Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 4-year B.El.Ed (appearing/passed)
- Code 04: Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Level 2 (Class 6 to 8)
- Code 01: Bachelor’s degree + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Code 02: Graduation with 50% + 1-year B.Ed (appearing/passed)
- Code 03: Graduation with 45% + 1-year B.Ed (NCTE norms)
- Code 04: Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 4-year B.El.Ed
- Code 05: Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- Code 06: Bachelor’s degree with 50% + 1-year B.Ed (or B.Ed Special Education)
- Code 07: Any candidate with qualified B.Ed recognized by NCTE
